"Developing the Crossborder Cooperation Model between Business Parks"

terme Nagyatád is located in the South-Transdanubian region of the Somogy County, the fifth largest town in the county which lies in the valley of Rinya. It is the social and economic centre of the Rinya embankment area and it provides a lot of services for the surrounding settlements. It grew from a village to a market town and later a municipality and finally a town. The settlement's first written mention can be dated in 1190. The town is surrounded by forests and it is well known for its parks, statues and spas. It provides a rich cultural and excursion possibilities for its visitors as well as entertainment activities. The most important economic activities in Nagyatád are the textile, food and engineering industry.

The Business Park in Nagyatád will be located in the former Budai Nagy Antal Barracks laying on an area of 57 ha. plus 22 ha. from a damaged area which will be released and put into function. The development of Nagyatád Business Park aims to house small and medium enterprises as well as larger companies who need to use a larger space. It will also have an incubator in function and will provide various services to its tenants, especially the assistance with the establishment of new companies. The Business Park in Nagyatád expects to employ 300 - 600 people helping reduce unemployment in the town.
