KriževciThe Town of Križevci is located in the Southwest part of Koprivnica-Križevci County, 57 km north of Zagreb and it is the central crossing of roads that connect regional centres: Zagreb, Koprivnica, Bjelovar and Varaždin. The distance from Križevci to Zagreb is around 57 km, Ljubljana (Slovenia) 200 km, Budapest (Hungary) 310 km, Belgrade (Serbia) 310 km, Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) 360 km, Vienna (Austria) 440 km. The town of Križevci lays on 140 m above the sea-level, on the south part of the mountain Kalnik. Because of its geographical position, this area has a moderate continental climate with colder winters and warmer summers and abounds in natural beauty, touristic potential and cultural resources. Fertile valleys are suitable for farming and hills bellow the mountain area are a heaven made for vineyards, vineyard cottages (klijeti) and orchards making it thus an agricultural region itself. This beautiful region offers horseback riding, cycling, hiking and other sports activities as well as centennial cultural sites for you to discover, and a unique gastronomical tour.

Poslovne zone KriževciKriževci is the second biggest town in the Koprivnica-Križevci County and it is known for its churches, music, schools and sport. Križevci is also the oldest town in the County and it is the home to the third Croatian Saint, St. Mark of Križevci. Also, the first College of Agriculture was established in this region in 1861. Križevci is strategically situated inside the Koprivnica-Križevci County, with a distance of 61km from Zagreb, 157km from Ljubljana, and 250km from Budapest. The location of the town is favorable for the construction of the business park because the main road networks link through the town. Economic activities that prevail here are a food processing industry and metal industry, and the town has three business zones: business zone Nikola Tesla which was elected this year by the Ministry of economy, labour and entrepreneurship as the most successful business zone in Croatia, business zone Cubinec and the new and modern business zone Gornji Čret which is 100% owned by the town and which will be the headquarter of BP NET in Croatia.
